In recent years, credit card fraud has been on the rise.
As a result of feedback from card brands and discussions with SBPS, our settlement agent, we have decided to take measures to restrict the use of VISA cards issued overseas.
After a certain period of time, we plan to lift the restriction if the situation improves.
Local payments can be used as usual.
In addition, the following cases are the main causes of payment errors caused by credit cards.
1. When the card usage limit has been reached
2. When the card is not available for use
3. In recent years, card companies have increased their security measures, and payments cannot be made regardless of the usage limit
Example: If you make multiple payments for the same amount and date, your card will be recognized as fraudulent use and locked, or if your card has been used in a way that is different from your usual usage habits
4. If your card does not have the identity authentication service (3D Secure) set up or does not support 3D Secure
In the case of 1, 2, or 3, your card information is personal information and cannot be confirmed by customer support, so you will need to contact your card issuer directly to confirm.
In case 4, if 3D Secure has not been set up, you may be able to use it by setting it up, so please check whether the credit card held by the person making the reservation has been set up for the “identity authentication service (3D Secure)”.
